I had a great time exploring the country with your team! I loved the experiences offered, especially the sunset side tour of Marrakech. The trip was so helpful in seeing the possibilities we are able to present to our clients. Hassan, our guide was incredibly warm and knowledgeable and we were sad to leave him!
Everything regarding our schedule was perfectly organized and yet flexible at the same time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our guide, mustapha! Very kind, and knowledgeable and again flexible with the group.
We look forward to returning to Morocco soon.
The clients had a WONDERFUL time in Morocco with Experience Morocco. The planning process from the advisor side was easy and efficient. Sara and her team did an excellent job proposing a lovely itinerary and everything on the ground went flawlessly. The clients raved about their guides and the entire trip and cannot wait to go back. Thank you EM team!
Experience Morocco did a fantastic job organizing our tour, with a few added surprises that truly enhanced our trip.
To begin with, although we had signed up for daily local guides, with no change in price they assigned us a full-time guide and driver who traveled with us throughout our two-week tour. Four days in Marrakesh, a night in Skoura, a Sahara stay, a high altitude lodge in the Middle Atlas and a stay in Fez -- during all of this our excellent driver Hamsa and our guide/architectural expert/philosopher/history professor Brahim were at our service. They were not only good company but true professionals.
Laz Mimoun Riad in Marrakesh was an absolute paradise. The rooftop overlooking the lush gardens of La Mamounia lured us out of our beds every morning at dawn. Bird song, golden skies, the call to prayer, it truly was a magical stay. Hicham and Mounia could not have taken better care of us. Mounia, thank you for everything! We will miss you. Both breakfast and dinner were beautifully prepared although it was little tricky managing to have wine with dinner. Hamsa and intrepid guide Brahim came to our rescue, and we had the additional cultural experience of seeing what it was like to buy alcohol in a Muslim city.
Our stay in Skoura at Ksar Al Kababba was just as magical. Hotel and gardens restored within the atmospheric ruins of an ancient kasbah, the food, the rooms, the staff were all top notch. Our one regret was that we didn't stay long enough to swim in the lovely pool set in the rose gardens.
Our Sahara stay was the centerpiece of the trip. It was deeply moving to hear the Berbers sing for us under the stars. Again the food, accommodations and staff were all exceptional. Words fail to describe the feeling of being in that immense expanse.
We spent a lot of time in the car given the distance we traveled. Looking back, it might've been better to build in another day both on our trip down into the desert and the return to Fez. But we wouldn't have wanted to miss the incredible mountain scenery, the rural villages and the ancient kasbahs and kvars along the way.
Riad El Amine in Fez was stately and elegant, again with a super- attentive staff and excellent food. Shopping in the medina , seeing the ancient university and visiting the Roman ruins at Volubilis were Fez highlights. Another glad surprise was Experience Morocco adding a tour of beautiful Rabat to our last day in Morocco. They also offered us a visit to the Volubilis vineyards which was much appreciated although we couldnt quite fit this in on our busy final day in Fez.
Cannot say enough about our driver Hamsa and guide Brahim. I've never seen a cleaner car, Hamsa kept it spotless as he expertly navigated the mountain roads and overzealous Moroccan traffic police. Bottled water and snacks on offer were much appreciated during our long hours in the car. Prayers and best wishes for your little ones and your wife, Hamsa. Our grateful thanks for keeping us safe and comfortable.
Our guide par excellence Brahim had such a deep knowledge of… well, everything. Fluent in French, Spanish, Arabic and English, from modern day Moroccan economics to Berber history to geology of the Atlas mountains and date and olive production, Brahim was our traveling oracle. His soulful eloquence and the depth of his knowledge enhanced our tour immensely. And his sense of humor ! Heartfelt thanks and prayers for both Brahim and Hamsa, we were honored to spend time in their company.
Last shout out, the delicious rooftop dinner our final night in Casablanca hotel Le Doge was just what we needed before the long flight home. Also to Badia at the Laz Mimoun in Marrakesh: Thank you for the best hammam I had in Morocco, I wish you and your family all the best.
I could not recommend Experience Morocco more highly. Thank you for a magnificent tour that we will never forget.
juts came back from our Morocco trip, excellent service from the moment they picked us up from the airport. Mohamed our driver for the 12 days trip was amazing! Not only super professional but also knowledge about the area, so we would get some insight of places we would visit.
10/10 would recommend him as a driver.
We were three couples traveling to Morocco and had an amazing experience. Kamal, our guide, and Omar, our driver expertly guided us around this beautiful country. Kamal was knowledgeable about history and culture and provided us with a wonderful introduction to Mororrocan history, culture, cuisine, and life. He kept us on schedule but had the flexibility to give us extra time when we needed. Kamal has a great sense of humor, could be spontaneous, and always very accommodating. Omar was gentle, kind and a superior driver! We felt completely safe and confident with him at the wheel.
We flew into Casablanca and set out for Rabat that day. We visited Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen, Middle
Atlas Mountains, Fez, the Sahara Desert (rode camels and stayed in luxury camps!), High Atlas Mountains, Marrakesh, and back to Casablanca. We hiked, walked, toured, shopped, rode camels, ATE, went on a hot air balloon ride, and even had a Royal Hammam ( a must do). We loved the Riyadhs, food, calls to prayer, sights, sounds, smells, and people. Thank you for a most wonderful and memorable trip! Choukran!!!
